The current financial crisis has led to reduced funding for Hibbing Community College. Spending reductions and personnel cuts have taken place. Additional reductions in funding are projected, which threaten the future of the Paulucci Planetarium.
A town hall meeting will be held on April 21, 2010 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the planetarium, 1502 East 23rd Street, to discuss possible solutions. You are invited to come and share your ideas and help shape an action plan to keep the planetarium operational.
