The Hibbing High School Student Council is hosting the annual Spirit of Unity Parade.
The parade begins at 6 p.m. on December 2nd with floats leaving from the Memorial Building. The parade route follows a loop to and from the center and includes 23rd Street, First Avenue, Howard Street and Seventh Avenue.
Before the parade:
Have photos taken with Santa at Zimmys from 3:00-5:00
Enjoy a pre-parade party at Security State Bank from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Donna J's restaurant in the Howard Court is also having an Open House / Grand Reopening with their expanded space from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
December 7th
The Hibbing Public Library will have their Yuletide Festival from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Santa will read Yuletide stories by the fireplace at 6 p.m. followed by a performance by the Hibbing City Band. The Literacy Action Center will hand out books to children in the library auditorium, where children can visit with Santa Claus. A children’s Christmas craft opportunity will be available in the children’s room.See the Community Calendar for many more events.
