Hibbing Public Access TV will be hosting interviews with City administration personnel and Department Heads on Channel 2. These interviews will help the public be better informed as to who the people are that are responsible for the different functions of the city's operations, from where does the money come from and hot it is spent to filling pot holes.

The City Council of the City of Hibbing is always seeking dedicated and interested residents of Hibbing to serve on City Boards / Commissions.

We need your commitment and ideas to help advise the elected and appointed officials on matters which promote and maintain the continued healthy growth of the community.

Current Vacancies include:

• Central Business Commission - 5 vacancies
• Fire Fighter Service Commission - 1 vacancy
• Historic Preservation Commission - 3 vacancies
• Parks & Recreatioon Board - 4 vacancies
• Police Civil Service Commission - 1 vacancies (3 year)
• Public Library Board of Trustees - 2 vacancies /1 two-year vacancy
• Public Utilities Commission - 1 vacancy
• Television Cable Commission - HPAT - 2 vacancies

Applications must be returned to the Council Office by March 10, 2010.
