Starting Sunday, April 18, 2010, the Hibbing Public Utilities Commission will begin its Hydrant Inspection and Flushing Program. Flushing is scheduled between the hours of 10:00
p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
In the event that it is necessary to use potable water during this time period, we suggest drawing a supply of water for storage, prior to the start of the flushing procedure.
The following areas will be flushed from Sunday evening, April 18, through Thursday night April 22, 2010. Depending on progress these areas may fluctuate, therefore, this schedule may move forward or back a day. Areas adjacent or near flushing sites may be affected.
